Who we are
Straq is a web design and development studio in Ghaziabad, India. This policy covers straq.in, our booking page, our WhatsApp number (where our AI assistant Qira replies) and the internal tool we use to manage enquiries and meetings (Straq CRM).
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email, phone number (optional) and what you tell us about your project.
- Booking a call: your name, phone number, business name and email (optional), and the time you pick.
- WhatsApp: your WhatsApp number and profile name, and the messages you exchange with us or with Qira.
- Business listings: for businesses we reach out to, the public details listed on maps and directories (business name, category, city, public phone number, website).
- Usage data: pages you visit and actions like sending the contact form or booking a call, collected with cookies by Google Analytics (IP addresses anonymised) and the Meta Pixel. We don't send your name, phone number or messages to either.
How we use it
- To reply to you, understand what you need, and prepare a proposal.
- To book, confirm, move or cancel calls, and to send you the meeting link and a reminder before the call.
- To keep a record of our conversation so anyone on our team can pick it up.
- To improve our website and services.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We only share it with the services we use to run Straq:
- Hosting providers for our website and our CRM.
- Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform), to send and receive WhatsApp messages.
- Google (Calendar and Meet), to schedule calls and create meeting links.
- Google Analytics, to see how many people visit and which pages help them.
- Meta Pixel, to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. You can turn off ad personalisation in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or block cookies in your browser.
- AI model providers, to let Qira write replies to your messages.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
Google user data
Straq CRM connects to Straq's own Google account through the Google Calendar API (scope calendar.events). It uses that access only to create, update and delete the events for calls booked with Straq, each with a Google Meet link, and to read the calendar's name to show which account is connected. It does not read, store or share any other calendar events or Google data, and the data is not used for advertising.
Straq CRM's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it to work with you or answer your enquiry, and for a reasonable time after that for our records. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices
- Reply STOP on WhatsApp and we won't message you again.
- Email hello@straq.in to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you.
Security
Our systems use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access is limited to our team, and our database is backed up daily. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your data.
